The Centre for Applied Statistics and Economic Modeling (CASEM) LTD/GTE, Enugu, Nigeria is a not for profit professional services organization that is technologically driven and engaged in the production, analysis, modeling and dissemination of quality statistics, as well as advancement of statistical theory and practice in Nigeria. It is a centre of excellence in modern data management and economic modeling practices that strives to bring clarity to statistical and modeling issues and provides direction and meaning to data production and economic modeling in Nigeria. CASEM is a platform for ideas and an agent of change in matters related to statistical procedures, Big Data analytics and economic modeling. Through rigorous analysis, we contextualise numbers for people’s understanding. Consequently, we generate information with which users can manage the disrupting effects of rapid changes in our ever evolving digital world. CASEM is a learning centre with a global reach and our operations are based on modern entrepreneurial resources. CASEM is, therefore, seeking qualified, skilled, innovative and highly resourceful individuals to fill positions in our organization. The individuals must have strong quantitative and research skills as well as a sound knowledge of the Nigerian economy. Applicants must be capable of working in a computer mediated environment, with working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office tools and other relevant statistical software packages. Every applicant must also be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written English.
